Race Management Organization
On-hill management of a World Cup race is conducted by the organization shown in the following organization chart. Click on the image for an enlarged view.
The Whistler organization is slightly different from that depicted in this FIS chart. For example, the Mayor of Whistler is not in the line organization, between the Chief of Course and the Crew and Section Chiefs. Also, the Equipment Manager reports directly to the Chief of Course.
Note that this "on hill" organization is separate from the Race Organizing Committee (ROC) that organizes the overall event, although both organizations have some members in common.
