- If you get separated from your crew, look for another crew chief or section chief – they have a radio and they will be able to locate your crew chief;

- Try to remember to always look around and ask what can be taken up the mountain or brought down as you are cycling around the mountain;
- Always grab a race start list on race days and follow along while the race is happening;
- If you aren’t sure about how to do something ask your crew chief or your mentor. It is their responsibility to ensure you understand your jobs.
- Don't overtire yourself on your first few days. You're there for the long haul. If you need a break, tell your Crew Chief and visit the Warming Tent. If you need to "call it a day", do so.
What if???
- You get
“pulled” from a job??
Remember that your safety is being considered. You are a volunteer and being injured is not acceptable. Your Crew Chief or other person has made a decision for your safety and the safety of others. Don't be upset or offended. - Someone
yells
