Franz's Downhill The Ladies Downhill for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games has been recently constructed from existing ski runs on Whistler Mountain's south side.  Starting on Wildcard, the Ladies Olympic Downhill  turns north, traverses Jimmy's Joker and then turns back to cross Highway 86 and join lower Franz's Run.  The course follows lower Franz's to Frondala where it turns north again to drop beside the lower Dave Murray Mens Olympic Downhill. The course then follows beside the lower Dave Murray to the finish at Timing Flats.  The Ladies course is being called  "Franz's Downhill" after Franz Wilhelmsen, founder and first President of the Whislter Ski Corporation.
